Instructions for abstract submission
The Local Organizing Committee of the 5th Annual Conference of the Israeli Society of Gene Therapy invites you to submit abstract(s) for the final program.
Policies and Requirements for Abstract Submission
1. Registration - Presenting authors are asked to register first before their abstract is reviewed. The registration form is available here. 2. All abstracts will be peer reviewed by the Scientific Program Committee for inclusion in the Program. 3. Selected abstracts will be presented either as a poster or as as oral presentation. The authors are requested to specify their choice of the type of presentation. Based on time availability, the Program Committee will make the final decision.
Abstract Submission Instructions
1. Abstracts are to be submitted via the ISGT website using Internet Explorer browser. 2. The abstract should be written in English using the Microsoft Word program. 3. You can modify your abstract until February 28th , 2007. After March 1st , 2007, no modification can be made. 4. It is the responsibility of the submitting author to supply the abstract with accuracy of content, spelling and presentation. The abstracts will be published exactly as submitted. 5. All abstracts will be published in the Conference syllabus. 6. The Program Committee will notify the presenting authors by March 18th, 2007 whether the abstract will be presented orally or as a poster.

1. Abstract title: Font: Times New Roman, 12pt, bold. Do not capitalize, except for the first letter, and do not indent. Spell out special characters (e.g. write “alpha-interferon” rather that “?-interferon”).
2. Authors: Leave one line space between the title and the Authors’ list. Font: Times New Roman 12pt. The name of the presenting author should be underlined. Authors’ name: Initials, followed by last name (e.g. B Smith, M Jones). Do not include degrees or professional titles (e.g. Dr, Prof., etc).
3. Affiliation Leave one line space between the Authors’ list and the affiliations’ list. Font: Times New Roman 10pt. Indicate for each author - The institute, city, country and zip code. Specify affiliation of each author via numbers. For example:

Dept. of xxx, Tel Aviv University, Tel Aviv, Israel, 21943 4. Abstract text: Length: Abstract text must not exceed 300 words (2000 characters). Font: Times New Roman, 12pt. Paragraph: single spaced. Leave on line of space between paragraphs. Do not indent. Do not insert figures, tables or graphs.
5. Abstract Content: The purpose of the abstract is to define the precise subject of the presentation to the participants. The results of the study must be included in the abstract. It is unsatisfactory to state that the results will be presented or discussed.
